Techne Summit We'll be in Alexandria, 3–5 October. We've set aside a few free two-hour calls for people we meet there — bring an infrastructure problem and we'll tell you what we'd do about it. The details →

Things people ask before we start.

Do you replace our engineering team, or work alongside it?+

Alongside. TheRunPoint designs and builds infrastructure your team operates day to day. Engagements end with documentation and a system your engineers understand — not a dependency on us.

What size company do you typically work with?+

Primarily SaaS, fintech, and B2B platform companies past their first infrastructure decisions — usually navigating a migration, a scaling bottleneck, or a security requirement they didn't originally design for.

How do you scope an engagement?+

Every engagement starts with an architecture review. You get a clear picture of scope, risk, and cost before anything is committed to.

Do you work with AWS, GCP, and on-premise environments?+

Yes. Platform choice is driven by your existing environment and workload characteristics — cloud, on-premises, or a hybrid of both — not by which platform we prefer to work in.

What happens after the engagement ends?+

You keep the infrastructure, the documentation, and the reasoning behind every architecture decision. Nothing is built to require our continued involvement.
